As part of a basement remodel, the main goals in this project were to improve the mechanical equipment servicing the house and add a bathroom in the basement.  We took the mechanical room and relocated and replaced the furnace and hot water heater, to create space for this new bathroom.  The work involved cutting into the concrete slab to run a drain line for the bathroom and some creative duct work to make the space work.  The end result is a bright and beautiful bathroom with walk-in tiled shower stall, large vanity and added storage space.
