From Outdated & Dark to a Modern Spanish Spa

When you purchase the home of your dreams, but it looks like more of an 80's nightmare, something has to change. This long-overdue Primary Suite remodel transformed a dark, dated space into a calm, functional retreat, while elevating the original Spanish influence with crafted finishes and construction.

A Primary Suite That Didn't Work

The bathroom had plenty of space, but the layout was all wrong, and the finishes were incredibly dated.

DYSFUNCTIONAL LAYOUT

The layout, complete with a sunken spa tub and planter areas for tropical gardens, made the space feel strange and inefficient.

OUTDATED AESTHETHICS

The dated and crazy finishes throughout made the space feel dark and overstimulating.

LACK OF STORAGE

Wasted space created a lack of useful storage and limited closet area.

ROT REPAIR

Framing of the home was rotting in places because of improper moisture control.

Our Approach...

Working closely with the designer (Crimson Park Design) and the client, we quickly identified additional needs and concerns that hadn't yet been addressed and developed a plan to ensure functionality remained the priority. Throughout the construction process, we communicated with all parties to ensure quality and vision aligned with the finished product. The result was a very specific and inspired design brought to life through creative and trustworthy construction.

New Space

Walls were moved, space was reclaimed, and functionality is just as beautiful as the Spanish-inspired finishes. His & her closets were built, and a space for the client's wine collection was cleverly created.

Peace of Mind

Electrical, plumbing, and framing are now up to code and worry-free for the homeowner. Thoughtful placement of outlets allow for ease of use in the bedroom and bathroom.
